THEATRE CURTAINS: MADE-TO-MEASURE AZUR SCENIC LEGS

WHAT MATERIAL FOR YOUR LEGS?

A leg is usually made of velvet or flame-retardant black fleece.
It can be made from the same material and in the same color as the front curtain for a homogeneous effect, or it can be made from a different fabric.
We offer this type of stage curtain in a range of textiles in flame-retardant cotton or FR polyester.

Do you have sound insulation problems between your stage area and backstage?
Opt for stage curtains made from sound-absorbing fabric!

WHAT FINISHES FOR YOUR LEGS?

At Azur Scenic, we make all your stage curtains to measure!
We're here to advise you on the finishes best suited to your stage.
Whether installed in the Italian style (curtains positioned parallel to other scenic draperies) or the German style (curtains positioned perpendicular to other scenic draperies), curtains are most often hung under fixed or mobile poles.

The most popular top finish for legs is therefore an attachment via knots. These knots can be sewn onto a strap or attached through eyelets.
Most of the time, legs are embellished with a weighted hem to keep them vertically in all circumstances.

Did you know?
The legs positioned above the proscenium curtain are called "Tormenters"
